At July 14, 1995 at Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS was a birthday of mp3 technology. From that day mp3 extension became well known. This compression technology uses psycho-acoustic algorithms, which were developed at the institute mentioned above. These algorithms are based on that fact, in which the nearest frequencies of audio frequency range are percepts as the non-different frequencies, that is why the abundance frequency range could be replaced by one average. Other media compression technologies are using the same idea of frequency optimizing and replacing.
