Plasma panel user could select one mode of 6 available for each aspect ratio (AR). Mode 4 have video signal with 4x4 pixels video segments placed in random order on each frame, so plasma panel receive "digital noise" video signal. Mode 8 - 8x8 pixels frame blocks, Mode 16 - pixels frame blocks. Each Mode has 2 speeds - High and Low. The efficiency of each mode depends on type of burn-in on your screen and how your plasma panel reacts on such kind of signal. Author of this DVD could not give you information about difference between Samsung, Panasonic, etc plasma panels, so please test your panels in individual order to detect what Mode is the best for your device. In most cases Plasma panels have 16:9 AR in their screen sizes, but as the additional option the "Modes 4, 8, 16" in 4:3 AR are also available.
The video signal is not static, so playing back this video during 30 minutes will give you some results, to repair plasma screen fully may be will be needed to play video during two hours, the time period is the test value for each model of plasma screen.

A: No, it is not possible for all conditions and types of screens. Sometimes the burn-in could not be removed cause the user did not did anything to avoid burn-in, and the static image will still forever. So please repair your plasma periodically using such kind of "refreshing"
